The workshop "Strengthening Parental Skills" held in Zenica

Risk factors, child confidence development and the role of parents were the issues discussed at the workshop "Strengthening Parental Skills" which was attended by a group of parents from Zenica.
On this occasion, the lecturers and trainers were the parents themselves who already attended mentioned workshop and gained enough knowledge and skills to now pass on to other parents, which is the desired outcome of such activities. By the newly gained skills parents are empowered to assist children that are passive and exposed to damaging influences of their immediate surroundings and the society at particular age.
The workshop is part of the project "Community Based Approach To Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina", implemented by IOM and supported by the British Embassy Sarajevo.
