Various activities organised for young people from Donja Puharska and Čejreci, local communities of Prijedor

A month of work on designed activities was full of children's laughter, to the satisfaction of all project participants. These activities included entertaining educations and traditional folklore dances. During this month, young people from Donja Puharska and Čejreci, local communities of Prijedor, have been teaching children folklore dances, and together they made drawings and ornaments they used to decorate the hall during a New Year event that was organized as a reward for their work and effort.
Through this project children got new folklore costumes in which they presented themselves in their full glory, and they've made an unforgettable New Year's Eve event to their parents and other guests. They showed what have they learned and worked on for a month in front of nearly a hundred visitors. At the end of the event, the children were visited by their dearest guest, Santa Claus, who gave them gifts and so, in the most beautiful way, rounded up this ceremony.
This youth-led initiative is part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina", implemented by IOM and supported to USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
