Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Van Der Auweraet: Migranti i izbjeglice moraju biti zbirnuti (N1)
Peter Van der Auweraert, šef misije IOM-a u BiH i sub-regionalni koordinator za Zapadni Balkan, govorio je za N1 televiziju o trenutnoj situaciji u Unskom-sanskom kantonu kada je u pitanju smještaj migranata, ali i o potrebi hitnog rješavanja ovog pitanja u narednih nekoliko dana, kako bi se izbjegle veće neugodne situacije po lokalno stanovništvo koje ga je, kako navodi, impresioniralo svojom reakcijom na nastalu situaciju.

Peter Van der Auweraert, IOM Chief of Mission in BiH and Western Balkans Sub-Regional Coordinator, spoke to N1 television about the present situation regarding migrant accomodation in Una-Sana Canton. He also touched upon urgent need to tackle the mentioned issue in the course of upcoming days to avoid unpleasant situations for local population which, as he said, left him impressed with their reaction to the emerging situation.
