Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Training for children from the Daily Center "Šljokica" from Donja Ljubija near Prijedor
U nedavno otvorenoj teretani za mlade nekoliko volontera organizovalo je trening za djecu iz Dnevnog centra “Šljokica” iz mjesta Donja Ljubija kod Prijedora.
Najmlađi su došli u velikom broju, a ovakve aktivnosti su od velikog značaja za njih jer su volonteri osmislili razne aktivnosti kroz vježbe, druženje i rekreaciju, a sve to kako bi im uljepšali školski raspust i omogućili da na kvalitetan način iskoriste svoje slobodno vrijeme.
Kroz ove aktivnosti mladi i djeca su se povezali što je od velike važnosti za ovu malu mjesnu zajednicu.
Ova aktivnost je organizovana u sklopu projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", kojeg sprovodi IOM uz podršku USAID-a, Vlade Velike Britanije i Ambasade Republike Italije u BiH.

In a recently opened gym for young people, several volunteers organized training for children from the Daily Center "Šljokica" from Donja Ljubija near Prijedor.
A large number of the youngest citizens attended for whom these activities are of great importance because volunteers have devised various activities through exercises, socializing and recreation, all in order to enhance the school break and enable them to spend their free time in a good way.
Through these activities, young people and children have been connected, what is of great importance for this small local community.
This activity was organized within the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" implemented by IOM and supported by the USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
