Još jedna vrijedna donacija Evropske unije za MUP Unsko-sanskog kantona
(Sarajevo, 02. oktobar 2019. godine) - U sklopu projekta koji finansira Evropska unija, Međunarodna organizacija za migracije (IOM) je danas uručila pripadnicima Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova Unsko-sanskog kantona još jednu vrijednu donaciju u vidu opreme koja će biti od značaja u svakodnevnom obavljanju posla u zaštiti građana i migranata koji trenutno borave u kantonu.
Ovom donacijom, policijski službenici u Unsko-sanskom kantonu će biti ojačani sa:
- Dva čamca zajedno sa pratećom opremom u vrijednosti BAM 15,570.00 koja će pomoći službenicima da lakše dođu do područja koja su manje pristupačna,
- Osam fotokamera te dron u vrijednosti BAM 18,500.00 koji će pomoći policiji da bolje vrši monitoring te da se poboljša kvalitet prikupljanja informacija.
“Od samog dolaska na vlast u mjesecu oktobru, prvu suradnju kada je u pitanju migrantska situacija na području Unsko-sanskog kantona smo ostvarili sa IOM-om. Od tog momenta naša saradnja je svakodnevna, te nam je od velikog značaja što je i Evropska unija prepoznala potrebe Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova Unsko-sanskog kantona i Jedinice za specijalističku podršku kroz donacije vozila i razne opreme”, kazao je Mustafa Ružnić, premijer Unsko-sanskog kantona.
Projekat “EU podrška upravljanju migracijama i granicom u BiH” finansira Evropska unija u vrijednosti od 14,8 miliona eura, a implementira IOM u partnerstvu s UNHCR-om, UNICEF-om, UNFPA-om i Danskim vijećem za izbjeglice (DRC-om).

PRESS RELEASE
Another valuable donation from the European Union to the Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton
(Sarajevo, 1st October 2019) – Within the project 'EU Support to Migration and Border Management in BiH' the International Organization for Migration (IOM) donated equipment to the Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton (USC) which will contribute to their day to day work in protecting the citizens and the migrants currently residing in the Canton.
With this donation, the police forces will be supported with:
- Two boats with accompanying equipment (worth BAM 15,570.00) to reach areas that are otherwise hard to reach.
- Eight cameras and a drone (BAM 18,500.00) that will be used to monitor, register and improve the quality of data collection.
“Since the beginning of my mandate last October, the cooperation with IOM was the first one in the response to the migrant situation in Una-Sana Canton. From that point onwards, our cooperation has been regular and it is of great importance to us that the European Union has recognized the needs of the Ministry of the Interior of the Una-Sana Canton and the Specialist Support Unit through donations of vehicles and various equipment” said Mustafa Ružnić, Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton.
The project “EU Support to Migration and Border Management in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is funded by the European Union with €14.8 million and is implemented by the IOM in partnership with UNHCR, UNICEF, UNFPA and the Danish Refugee Council.
