Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Projects "Za ljepši grad" and "Priroda za sve" have been realized in Zavidovići
Mnoge od aktivnosti koje su predviđene u okviru projekata “Za ljepši grad” i “Priroda za sve” već su realizovane u Zavidovićima.
Dvije neformalne grupe mladih su uz doprinose lokalne zajednice realizovale zamjenu rasvjete na gradskim mostovima. Učenici Mješovite srednje škole izradili su dva parkinga za bicikle, te su odštampani primjerci karata turističke ponude spomenika prirode Tajan koji su podijeljeni planinarima iz drugih gradova. Osim toga, održana su dva treninga sportskog penjanja u dvorani Prve osnovne škole, ali i radionica na temu "Stop nasilju nad osobama oba spola".
U narednom periodu uslijedit će realizacija i preostalih aktivnosti koje su dio dva navedena projekta.
Ove aktivnosti su dio projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini" kojeg sprovodi IOM BiH, a podržava Vlada Velike Britanije.

Many of the activities envisaged under the projects "Za ljepši grad" and "Priroda za sve" have already been realized in Zavidovići.
Two informal youth groups, with the contributions of the local community, realized the replacement of lighting on the city bridges. The Combined secondary school students created two parking lots for bicycles and the copies of tourist offer of Tajan Nature Monuments were printed and shared with mountaineers from other cities. In addition, two sport climbing training sessions were held in the First Elementary School hall, as well as workshops on "Stop violence against persons of both sexes".
In the forthcoming period, the realization and the remaining activities that are part of the two projects will follow.
These activities are part of the project "Moving to sustainable approaches in the prevention of violent extremism in the Western Balkans” implemented by IOM BiH and supported by the British Embassy Sarajevo.
