Neformalna grupa roditelja iz Bugojna počela je sa realizacijom projekta “Roditelji za roditelje”. Ova grupa roditelja iz Bugojna svoj zajednički put počela je na prvom modulu edukacije za roditelje koja je održana u Bugojnu. Nakon završena četiri modula edukacije za roditelje, javila se ideja da grupa roditelja koja je prošla ovu vrstu edukacije pomogne i drugim roditeljima iz općine Bugojno.

Projekat “Roditelji za roditelje” ima za cilj da unaprijedi komunikaciju i razumijevanja između roditelja, mladih i ključnih aktera lokalne zajednice. Kroz projektom planirane aktivnosti, ova neformalna grupa želi doprinijeti smanjenju broja nasilnih ponašanja i konflikata između generacije roditelja i mladih osoba. U početnoj fazi realizacije ovog projekta, roditelji su posjetili Mješovitu srednju školu Bugojno i Srednju stručnu školu, te razgovarali sa direktorima i predstavnicima Vijeća roditelja ove dvije škole. U narednom periodu su planirani sastanci i sa rukovodstvom Srednje tehničke škole Bugojno kao i pripreme za okrugli stol na kojem će svi glavni akteri iz lokalne zajednice biti upoznati sa projektom.

Ova aktivnost je dio projekta "Podrške mladih u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", koju provodi IOM, a podržavaju USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo i Ambasada Republike Italije u Bosni i Hercegovini.

An informal group of parents from Bugojno started with the implementation of the project "Parents for Parents". This group of parents from Bugojno started their joint journey at the first Module of education for parents held in Bugojno. After the completion of four Modules, the idea was the the group of parents who completed this kind of education would also help other parents from the municipality of Bugojno.

The “Parents for Parents” project aims to improve communication and understanding between parents, young people and key stakeholders of the local community. Through the project of planned activities, this informal group wants to contribute to reducing the number of violent behavior and conflicts between the generation of parents and young people. In the initial phase of this project, parents have visited the Mixed High School Bugojno and the Secondary Vocational School Bugojno, and spoke with the directors and representatives of the Parents Council of these two schools. In the following period, meetings with the management of the Secondary Technical School Bugojno are planned, as well as preparations for a round table where all the stakeholders from the local community will be introduced to the project.

This activity is part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosni and Herzegovina" implemented by the IOM, supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of Great Britain (British Embassy Sarajevo) and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
