Our Work
Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

The initiative called "Autobus sreće“ ended with a trip to Bihać
Inicijativa mladih iz Bužima kojom su željeli istaknuti važnost omladinskog angažmana, podijeliti lijepa iskustva nastala tim angažmanom, a koju su nazvali "Autobus sreće" je započela izložbom fotografija "Mladost ludost", a završila jednodnevnim izletom mladih u Bihać. Mladi su u Bihaću posjetili kino gdje su pogledali film, zatim su zajedno kuglali i šetali gradom. Podijelili su sadržaj koji im inače nije dostupan u njihovoj lokalnoj zajednici. Pored zajedničkih iskustava koja se tiču projekata i akcija za dobrobit zajednice, ovi mladi sada dijele još i ovu uspomenu, za koju kažu da će je s radošću njegovati i čuvati.
Ova aktivnost je realizirana u sklopu projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", kojeg implementira Međunarodna organizacija za migracije - IOM, a finansijski podržava Vlada Velike Britanije.

The initiative called "Autobus sreće“ through which the youth from Bužim wanted to emphasize the importance of youth engagement, share beautiful experience evolved from that experience started with photo exhibit "Mladost ludost“ and ended with a trip to Bihać. There they have visited a cinema and watched a movie and later they went bowling and walked through the city. They have shared the content not available for them in their community. In addition to common experiences regarding projects and actions for the benefit of their community, these young people now share this memory, which they say will gladly nurture and preserve.
This activity is organized within the “Moving to sustainable approaches in the prevention of violent extremism in the Western Balkans” project, implemented by the International Organization for Migration and supported by British Embassy Sarajevo.
