"Free time and the ways children use it"

"Free time and the ways children use it" is activity realized in Jablanica by the informal group of parents who participated in the "Strengthening of parental skills" training. Through this activity, parents conducted a survey among high school students, and on the first panel discussion, the results of the survey that included youth from local communities were presented to the guests. Out of the 188 surveyed, 103 young people said they did not participate in any activity. One of the participants in the discussion was also the director of the Middle School, which expressed the wish that the results of this survey were also presented to pupils at school and at the Parents' Council.

This workshop is part of project “Moving to Sustainable Approaches in the Prevention of Violent Extremism in the Western Balkans”, implemented by IOM and supported by British Embassy Sarajevo.
