Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Football club "Hercegovac" supplied with the equipment
Nakon uspješne realizacije projekta „Rekonstrukcija i adaptacija svlačionica na gradskom stadionu“ neformalna grupa mladih je uložila svoje vrijeme i trud kako bi obezbijedila potrebnu opremu za Fudbalski klub “Hercegovac”. Oprema je uručena tokom Novogodišnjeg programa “Veče šampiona”.
Treneri su istakli da je ovo jedna od aktivnosti koje će pokrenuti fudbal u Bileći, a mladim, budućim šampionima pomoći u ostvarenju njihovih snova.
Ova aktivnost je organizovana u sklopu projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", kojeg sprovodi IOM, a podržana je od strane USAID-a, Vlade Velike Britanije i ambasade Republike Italije u BiH.

After the successful realization of the project "Reconstruction and adaptation of city stadium's locker rooms" an informal group of young people invested their time and effort to supply Football club "Hercegovac" with the equipment they need. The equipment was handed to this club during New Year's manifestation named "The night of champions".
The coaches of this club highlighted that this is one of the activities that will restart football in Bileća, and help future champions to make their dreams come true.
This activity was organized as part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" that is implemented by IOM and supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina
