Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Community Dialogue held in Zavidovići
Dijalog sa učesnicima šest MoviEQ radionica u Zavidovićima se desio u utorak, 27. novembra. Grupa od 21 mladih je govorila o problemima u lokalnoj zajednici koje je uočila, ali i ponudila svoje ideje za njihovo rješavanje. Tako su kao problemi između ostalih navedeni: nedovoljno sportskih terena – otvorenih i zatvorenih, neuredan grad, nedovoljno edukacija/radionica za mlade, a kao moguća rješenja toga: izgradnja street workout-a, renoviranje postojećih terena, pametne ekološke table, obilježavanje biciklističke staze na Tajanu/postavljanje putokaza, promocija kulturno-historijske baštine, postavljanje parkinga za bicikle.
U narednom periodu mladi će raditi na izradi projektnih prijedloga za neke od navedenih ideja, koje će predstaviti zajednici nakon završetka.
Ova aktivnost je dio projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", koji implementira IOM, a podržavaju USAID, Vlada Velike Britanije i Ambasada Republike Italije u Bosni i Hercegovini.

Community Dialogue with participants of six MoviEQ workshops was held on Tuesday, 27th November, in Zavidovići. The group of 21 young people talked about the local community problems they had noticed and to offer their ideas for solving it. Among other things, as problems have been mentioned: insufficient number of sports courts - open and closed, untidy city, insufficient education / workshop for young people and as possible solutions: building street workout, renovating existing sport terrain, smart ecology board, marking cycling routes on Tajan, promotion of cultural-historic heritage, setting up a bicycle parking.
In the coming period, young people will work on developing a project proposals for some of the ideas outlined above, and present it to their community when they finish.
This activity is part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" implemented by IOM Bosnia and Herzegovina, supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and Embassy of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
