Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Youth from the local communities of Cirkin Polje and Cejreci (Prijedor) participated at the third Community Dialogue
Youth from the local communities of Cirkin Polje and Cejreci (Prijedor) at the third "Community Dialogue" spoke about problems such as lack of cultural content, traffic signs and playgrounds in the places where they live. They also presented several ideas of how this to be solved, so in the future they will work on the preparation of project proposals! These are the activities within the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina ", implemented by IOM and supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevoand the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mladi iz mjesnih zajednica Čirkin Polje i Čejreci (Prijedor) na trećem "Dijalogu u zajednici" govorili su o problemima kao što su nedostatak kulturnih sadržaja, saobraćajnih znakova i neuslovnih igrališta u mjestima u kojima žive. Oni su iznijeli i nekoliko ideja kako bi ovo moglo da bude riješeno, pa će u narednom periodu raditi na pripremi projektnih prijedloga! Ovo su aktivnosti u sklopu projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini" koji sprovodi IOM, a podržavaju USAID BiH, Vlada Velike Britanije i Ambasada Republike Italije u Bosni i Hercegovini.
