Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Workshop "Media Literacy" was held in Zavidovici
Workshop "Media Literacy", part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina", was held last weekend (31 March – 1 April) in Zavidovici. Youth from this local community got to know the different approaches to analyzing media content, the influence of media, regulation and self-regulation. The goal of acquiring new knowledge and introducing new technologies is to develop media literacy among youth. These activities are implemented by IOM, supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Radionica "Medijska pismenost", dio projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini", održana je proteklog vikenda (31. mart i 1. april) u Zavidovićima. Petnaestoro mladih iz ove lokalne zajednice upoznato je s različitim pristupima analizi medijskih sadržaja, uticajem medija, regulacije i samoregulacije. Cilj usvajanja novih znanja i upoznavanja novih tehnologija je da se kod mladih razvije medijska pismenost. Ove aktivnosti sprovodi IOM, a podržavaju USAID BiH, Vlada Velike Britanije i Ambasada Republike Italije u Bosni i Hercegovini.
