Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

The second workshop for parents held in Zenica
Local IOM team from Zenica, organized a second workshop for parents. Module "Strengthening parenting skills" it was about the education of children and youth, communication skills, as well as conflict resolution. The goal of The parents’ body is to provide an additional opportunities for activation and participation of youth in the life / work of the local community, and their greater involvement. Project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in BiH" is supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in BiH.

Lokalni IOM tim Zenica, organizovao je drugu radionicu za roditelje. Na modulu "Jačanje roditeljskih vještina" bilo je riječi o odgoju djece i mladih, načinu komunikacije sa djecom i mladima, kao i rješavanju konflikta. Cilj formiranog tijela roditelja je da pruži dodatnu mogućnost za aktiviranje i učešće mladih u životu/radu lokalne zajednice, te njihovom većem angažmanu. Projekat "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u BiH" sprovodi IOM uz podršku USAID BiH, Vlade Velike Britanije i Ambasade Republike Italije u BiH.
