Organised workshop for Roma children marking The international Roma day - 8 April
On Saturday, 14 April 2018 volunteers from Roma Resource Centre Romalen Kakanj organized the workshop for Roma children marking The international Roma day. Many among them were children on the move, children working on the street and, as such, they are often victims or potential victims of human trafficking.
Children had the opportunity to spend the sunny weekend playing with their peers, attend the lesson of history where they learned about Roma customs, culture and history as well as visit historically and culturally significant locations. They also learned about the meaning of Roma holidays and important dates for Roma in Bosnia and Herzegovina and worldwide.
IOM Bosnia and Herzegovina financially supported the realization of this activity.
………………………………………….
