Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

Local IOM team from Novi Grad Sarajevo organized and held a MoviEQ Workshop in the primary school "Behaudin Selmanović" within the framework of the project "Community Based Approaches to Support Youth in Local Communities"
Local IOM team from Novi Grad Sarajevo organized and held a MoviEQ Workshop in the primary school "Behaudin Selmanović" within the framework of the project "Community Based Approaches to Support Youth in Local Communities". Through this unique workshop, participants had the opportunity to build their emotional intelligence, widen their horizons, and learn new skills to help their future community engagement and/or employment. Participants who fullfiled all the requirements and regularly attended the sessions were awarded a Cambridge University certificate. This project is supported by the USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in BiH.

U sklopu projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama" koji sprovodi IOM u BiH, u Osnovnoj školi "Behaudin Selmanović" održana je MovieQ radionica u kojoj su učestvovali mladi iz lokalnih zajednica općine Novi Grad Sarajevo. Na jedinstvenoj radionici, mladi su imali priliku da poboljšaju vještine emocionalne inteligencije, prošire vidike i pogled na svijet i sticanjem novih sposobnosti povećaju mogućnost društvenog angažmana i zaposlenja. Svim redovnim učesnicima su dodijeljeni certifikati Cambridge Univerziteta. Projekat je podržan od strane USAID BiH, vlade Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i ambasade republike Italije u BiH.
