Islamic Relief donirao neprehrambene artikle u vrijednosti 680,000 KM za migrante i izbjeglice
Sarajevo, 13. februar 2020. godine - Međunarodna organizacija za migracije (IOM) i humanitarna organizacija Islamic Relief Worldwide u Bosni i Hercegovini (IRBiH) potpisali su danas Memorandum o saradnji u vezi sa implementacijom značajne donacije u vrijednosti 680,000 KM kojom će, za potrebe migranata i izbjeglica koji trenutno borave u privremenim prihvatnim centrima, biti obezbijeđeni neprehrambeni artikli.
Memorandum o saradnji su potpisali g. Emir Čiča, direktor Predstavništva humanitarne organizacije Islamic Relief Worldwide u Bosni i Hercegovini (IRBiH) i g. Peter Van der Auweraert, šef misije IOM-a u BiH i sub-regionalni koordinator za Zapadni Balkan.
„Organizacija IRBIH je učinila napore da prepozna potrebe migranata i izbjeglica i obratili su se IOM-u sa željom da pruže, u ovom momentu, najpotrebnije artikle. IOM je zahvalan na ovoj vrijednoj donaciji za migrante i izbjeglice“, rekli su iz IOM-a.
Donirani artikli će biti od velikog značaja za migrante i izbjeglice koji borave u privremenim prihvatnim centrima koje finansira Evropska unija, a kojima IOM upravlja zajedno sa Službom za poslove sa strancima BiH.

Islamic Relief donated non-food items worth BAM 680,000 for migrants and refugees
Sarajevo, February 13, 2020 - International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Islamic Relief Worldwide in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IRBiH) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation today in regards to the implementation of a significant donation worth BAM 680,000 which will be used to provide non-food items for the needs of migrants and refugees currently residing in temporary reception centers.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Mr. Emir Čiča, Director of the Representative Office of Islamic Relief Worldwide in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IRBiH), and Mr. Peter Van der Auweraert, IOM Chief of Mission in BiH and Sub-Regional Coordinator for the Western Balkans.
"IRBIH has made efforts to recognize the needs of migrants and refugees, and they approached IOM wishing to provide what is most needed at this time. IOM is grateful for this valuable donation for migrants and refugees", IOM stated.
The donated items will be of great importance to migrants and refugees residing in temporary reception centres funded by the European Union and run by IOM and the Service for Foreigners' Affairs (SFA).
