Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

An interactive web portal for BiH Emigration was officially presented to the public
An interactive web portal for BiH Emigration (www.dijaspora.mhrr.gov.ba) created under the "Diaspora for Development" (D4D) project was officially presented to the public.
The Diaspora for Development (D4D) is a project of the Government of Switzerland and the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in BiH.
Semiha Borovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister for Human Rights and Refugees, Andrea Rauber Saxer, Ambassador of Switzerland to BiH, and Nirvana Pištoljević, President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), spoke at the promotion of the interactive web portal for the diaspora from BiH.
The first interactive portal for a diaspora from Bosnia and Herzegovina owned by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees was launched in Sarajevo on Monday (26 February 2018) and was established for the purpose of implementing the Policy on cooperation with emigration, i.e. improving communication and exchange of information between BiH emigration and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The portal was created by Leftor (www.leftor.ba) from Tuzla.

Interaktivni web portal za BiH iseljeništvo (www.dijaspora.mhrr.gov.ba) kreiran u okviru projekta “Dijaspora za razvoj” (D4D) zvanično je prezentovan za javnost.
Dijaspora za razvoj (D4D) je projekat Vlade Švicarske i Ministarstva za ljudska prava i izbjeglice BiH u partnerstvu sa Razvojnim programom Ujedinjenih nacija (UNDP) i Međunarodnom organizacijom za migracije (IOM) u BiH.
Na promociji interaktivnog web-portala za dijasporu iz BiH govorile su Semiha Borovac, ministrica za ljudska prava i izbjeglice BiH, Andrea Rauber Saxer, ambasadorica Švicarske u BiH, i Nirvana Pištoljević, predsjednica Bosanskohercegovačko-američke akademije nauka i umjetnosti (BHAAAS).
Prvi interaktivni portal za dijasporu iz Bosne i Hercegovine u vlasništvu Ministarstva za ljudska prava i izbjeglice pokrenut je u ponedjeljak (26.02.2018) u Sarajevu, a uspostavljen je u svrhu provedbe Politike o saradnji s iseljeništvom, odnosno unapređenja komunikacije i razmjene informacija između bh. iseljeništva i Bosne i Hercegovine. Portal je kreirala kompanija Leftor (www.leftor.ba) iz Tuzle.
