The fourth Module of the workshop "Strengthening Parental Skills" for participants from Zenica

The fourth Module of the workshop "Strengthening Parental Skills" for participants from Zenica, which discussed the mapping of actors who are fighting against radicalism and violent extremism in the local community, such as government and NGOs, religious institutions, mental health centers and social work centers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other institutions, was held on Vlasic last weekend. It was concluded that it is important to take preventive actions, preparation of an action plan that will define what needs to be done and who should do it, and how the stakeholders can contribute to the implementation of the plan. Group of parents from Zenica in the coming period plans to establish a "Parents Network" to implement an action plan to combat violent extremism and radicalism. All this is part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" - implemented by IOM, supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
