A folklore festival called “Dubravsko ljeto – KUD” was held in Capljina, on Bivolje brdo last weekend. At the ceremony, the youth which gathered at a single spot had the chance to present the most beautiful traditional dances and new folklore clothing, which was implemented with the assistance of IOM, but also the youngsters who are the members of mentioned folklore society contributing to its progress by their engagement. Besides above stated, the members of the society expressed special gratitude to IOM by handing out letter of gratitude to chief coordinator of the project under which the mentioned activities were executed.

Realization of these activities is the part of the project “Community Based Approach to Support to Youth in Targeted Communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, implemented by IOM, supported by USAID, the Government of Great Britain and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

U Čapljini je proteklog vikenda održana smotra folklora “Dubravsko ljeto – KUD” na Bivolju brdu. Na ovoj svečanoj manifestaciji, mladi okupljeni na jednom mjestu imali su priliku predstaviti najljepše tradicionalne plesove, ali i novu narodnu nošnju, koja je implementirana uz pomoć IOM-a, ali i mladih koji su članovi spomenutog folklornog društva, a svojim angažmanom su doprinijeli unapređenju društva. Pored navedenog, članovi ovog društva su izrazili posebnu zahvalnost IOM-u dodjelom zahvalnice glavnom koordinatoru projekta u okviru kojeg su realizovane ove aktivnosti.

Realizacija ovih aktivnosti dio je projekta “Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini” koji sprovodi IOM, a podržavaju USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vlada Velike Britanije, i Ambasada Republike Italije u Bosni i Hercegovini.
