Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH), IOM aims to prevent irregular migration, stop the trafficking of human beings, contribute to national development, and assist the BH Government to manage migration activities.

First module of the Strengthening Parental Skills Workshop was held last weekend in Zavidovici
First module of the Strengthening Parental Skills Workshop was held last weekend (March 30 and 31) in Zavidovici. The aim of the workshop is to educate parents empower the local community. They will transfer the acquired knowledge to other parents in the community. These workshops are part of the project "Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina" - implemented by IOM, supported by USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Embassy Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prvi modul radionice "Jačanje roditeljskih vještina" održan je proteklog vikenda (30. i 31. mart) u Zavidovićima. Kroz edukaciju roditelja cilj je osnažiti lokalnu zajednicu tako što će oni stečeno znanje prenijeti na druge roditelje u zajednici. Ova aktivnost IOM-a je dio projekta "Podrška mladima u lokalnim zajednicama u Bosni i Hercegovini" koju finansijski podržavaju USAID, Vlada Velike Britanije i Ambasada Republike Italije.
