Memories, School Bells, and New Beginnings
I observe them. They hurry into the school, their eyes bright and sharp, smiling at everyone in the hallway. I often wonder if they’ve managed to create memories of the place they left behind. Did they leave behind toys they never named? Many questions torment my mind, and answers are nowhere in sight. The bell rings. I’ve heard from colleagues that they love school, enjoy assignments, welcome challenges, and participate eagerly in activities. But like all children, they cherish recess most, waving as they go. As I watch them leave, I wonder if the day will take them under another sky and if they’ll remember the school bell here in Hadžići.
Sjećanja, školska zvona i novi počeci
Posmatram ih. Toliko pitanja mi razdire um, a nigdje odgovora.
