New Public Call Launched to Support Farmers Under the EUR 20 Million ‘EU Flood Recovery Support to BiH’ Project
Sarajevo, 10 April 2025 – Rural households and farms affected by the October 2024 floods can now apply for targeted assistance through a Public Call launched on 07 April under the ‘EU Flood Recovery Support to BiH’ project.
Funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in partnership with local governments, the project is part of the €20 million recovery package announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2024.
Who Can Apply?
The Public Call is open until 6 May 2025 for households and farms in the following locations: Drvar, Jablanica, Konjic, Kreševo, Kiseljak, Fojnica, Vareš, and Mostar.
Eligible applicants include adult members of households and farm owners whose agricultural land, facilities, equipment, livestock or crops were damaged by floods and landslides in October 2024. Applicants who have already received assistance for the same support package from other sources are not entitled to additional assistance through this call.
How to Apply?
Application forms and guidelines are available at municipal offices, their websites, as well as on the websites of UNDP in BiH (www.ba.undp.org) and IOM in BiH (https://bih.iom.int). Applications must be submitted to the relevant local government offices before the deadline.
