That the idea of an informal youth group from Foča, regarding the reconstruction of auxiliary facilities at the Zabrana mountain hut, was a hit, witnessed the event from last weekend when young people organized competitions as part of the "First Mountaineering steps" excursion.

Namely, more than 300 participants had the opportunity to enjoy a contest in sledding, long jumping and rope pulling. All seven additional facilities were reconstructed, old and overworked items were replaced with new ones and missing boards were installed, as well as benches, desks, and waste bins.

The project “Reconstruction of Auxiliary facilities at the mountain hut Zabrana” ends at the end of January by organizing a party for high school students.

These activities are part of the project “Moving to Sustainable Approaches in the Prevention of Violent Extremism in the Western Balkans”, implemented by IOM and supported by British Embassy Sarajevo.
